Farewell to the Waders lunch
Thursday, Mar 7, 2019
The Farewell to the Waders lunch will raise funds to ensure the migratory waders have water and a habitat when they make their annual return from as far as Siberia next year. The timing of the lunch is to coincide when the waders begin to leave the Tolderol Wetlands.
This event will aim to form a link between the community, the wetlands and everyone who visits the area for bird watching, fishing or hunting. From this collaboration we hope to ensure a strong and united commitment to maintain the area as prime habitat for both local and migratory waterbirds.
The lunch will feature a three-course meal featuring local produce and wines to match, created by renowned South Australian chef Andrew Fielke.
There are only 100 tickets available so you will need to be quick!
