Australian Deer Association celebrates its 50th Anniversary

The Australian Deer Association is celebrating its 50th anniversary this month and is holding a dinner on Saturday 30 March in Melbourne.

The dinner will also coincide with the Wild Deer Hunting, Guiding and Fishing Expo being held that weekend.

Dinner will include a two-course dinner, light entertainment, access to exclusive auction items, plus a presentation by guest speaker Dr Craig Harper, a Professor of Wildlife Management and the Extension Wildlife Specialist at the University of Tennessee, who will share his insights on wild deer management.

Time: 6pm until late
Where: Sandown Racecourse, Let’s Elope room, 591-659 Princes Highway, Springvale, Victoria

Australian Deer Association members are also invited to attend two free workshops being held over the same weekend:

  • Leaders and future leaders workshop – Friday 29 March
  • Deer management workshop – Saturday 30 March
